Punigo gives the stones cute faces so beginners can see how stones connect and when they are in danger. Play a quick game against the AI on a small 5x5 to 9x9 board. The rules are simplified for beginners: the player with more stones on the board wins.
How to Play
Black and White take turns placing stones and capture each other's stones by surrounding them. At the end, whoever has more stones on the board wins. There are just four rules:
- Black and White take turns placing stones. You may pass your turn.
- A stone or connected group is captured when it has no adjacent empty points left.
- You cannot make a move that repeats a recent position.
- The game ends after two consecutive passes. The player with more stones on the board wins.
