These Terms of Service (the "Terms") set out the conditions for using the smartphone/PC app "Punigo" (the "App") provided by punigo.app (the "Operator"). Please read them carefully before use. By using the App, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.
These Terms apply to all relationships between the Operator and users in connection with the use of the App.
Anyone may use the App; its core features are free of charge. Minors should use the App only with the consent of a parent or guardian.
The App lets you link an Apple or Google account to save your learning progress and game records to the cloud. Linking an account is optional, and all App features remain available without it. However, if you do not link an account, this data is stored only on your device and cannot be restored if the App is deleted or the device is changed or lost. You can unlink or delete your account (including deleting data stored in the cloud) at any time from "Settings" → "Account Linking" in the App.
Intellectual property rights in the App and in the programs, images, text, audio, and other content included in the App belong to the Operator or other rightful owners. Reproduction, republication, modification, or redistribution beyond the scope of private use is not permitted except as follows. Gameplay videos, livestreams and screenshots may be published and monetized under the Streaming Guidelines in the app. Works created with the video/image export feature may be edited, published, and shared commercially or non-commercially. See the Streaming Guidelines for videos with speech.
Users must not engage in any of the following: - Decompiling, reverse engineering, or otherwise analyzing the App - Interfering with the operation of the App - Violating any law or public order and morals - Any other act the Operator deems inappropriate
The Operator makes no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of the App's content. The Operator is responsible, under applicable law, for damages caused by its intentional acts or negligence in connection with the use or inability to use the App. Moves, analysis, and difficulty ratings produced by the AI are reference information intended to support learning.
The Operator may change, suspend, or discontinue the App as needed. For changes that materially affect users, we will announce the details and timing in advance, except in emergencies.
The Operator may revise these Terms in accordance with applicable law. We will announce the changes and their effective date in the App or on the official website in advance. Where consent is legally required, changes will be made with that consent.
Some features of the App are available through the paid "Punigo Plus" service (a subscription). Prices and periods are shown on the purchase screen in the App. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and are charged to your app store account. Cancellation, refunds, and restoring purchases follow the store's terms and procedures. The Operator never receives payment details such as credit card numbers. Minors should obtain a guardian's consent before purchasing. The commercial transactions notice (in Japanese) is available at https://punigo.app/tokushoho.html.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute arising in connection with the App shall be subject to the exclusive agreed jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the Operator's location.
